Taking place on straight country roads north west of Assen – 13km for the Juniors, Nieuwelingen and Category 7. 7.5km for Categories 5 and 6 going down to 2km for Category 1. There were few corners, even few bends – 2 corners for the youth categories over the whole course. The winds were strong though and the roads were very exposed to them.

There were a couple of monumental showers but also plenty of sunshine and apple cake. Some were disappointed, some happy – tomorrow it’s the Omloop – the cobbles.
