Isaac 4X National Youth Champion – 2nd year running!

By | 07/09/2010

Isaac Mundy retained his 2009 4X National Youth Championship title again in August 2010.

Gareth, Isaacs Dad provides this report:

Middle weekend of August we went to “Southwest Extreme” near Bideford in Devon for Round  5 of the British 4X Series and also this years  National Championship competition. On Saturday Isaac cleanly saw off the competition to record his fourth series win of the season and we believe  clinch the series title again for this year with one round to go.
On Sunday morning while practising for the Nationals, Isaac crashed heavily and with a ruined wheel, damaged helmet,  slight whiplash and generally feeling terrible it was touch and go for a while whether he would compete at all that day. In the end, however, the competitive spirit kicked in and with a borrowed wheel he recorded a clean sweep of  4 Motos and the Final, thus retaining his National Championship Title for 2010.

Well done Isaac. Our many congratulations. We look forward to seeing you at club Saturdays in the autumn.
