MSG#3 Regional Champs – Codham Park 18/05/2014

By | 07/05/2014
Please see information on The MSG event it would be great to see our Mountain Bikes put their skills to the test at these events.

The MSG is just over a week away now from the third instalment of the Mud, Sweat and Gears MTB XC Summer Series. This time round sees us return to Codham Park in Essex which will host the Regional Champs for the first time.

With this event being the Regional Champs it means that there are double BC ranking points on offer and even better the chance to walk around calling yourself the Regional MTB XC Champ in your category for the year! MSG series points remain the same. Just to make sure that we have a truly great course for you to ride we have already had it ridden in by some of the best mountain bike racers this country has to offer at the National MTB Series event back at the end of March! When we last saw the course it was very dry and smooth with the usual Codham technical sections plus of course the now legendary BMX track!

The Regional Champs is historically our biggest event of the year and therefore we’d suggest pre-entry as a way to avoid the disappointment of not getting a ride!

Online entry closes TUESDAY 13TH MAY AT MIDNIGHT!!

Under 9 MSG#3 – Volunteers Needed!

We have had word from our lead coach Steve Manser that he requires some additional assistance at Codham Park with the Under 9’s coaching and race session.

The coaching session is between 10am and 11:30am with the Under 9 race starting at 12pm.

Areas of help:

  • Setup and test race course
  • Time keeper – really easy, Steve has a spreadsheet which you just put the rider’s number into as they cross the line each time.
  • Extra marshals

If you’re willing and able to help please contact steve-manser@sky.com. We need help or we will have to restrict the number of riders entering!
