  • Sunday – We have a number of our riders in the Eastern Region Cyclocross teams competing in the Inter-Regional Cyclocross Championships at Milton Keynes. There is also a day of cyclocross racing being organised by Maldon. Click the following link for details: Cross at the Prom
  • Monday 7th November. We continue our turbo training at Hog Hill at 6.45 prompt!. RC are making special arrangements to remain open for us but we have to be OUT by 8pm so prompt start is essential. Prices this year are £3 per youth and £4 per adult plus a £1 charge if you want to hire a club turbo trainer (limited availability)
    • Finally a message from Andy White about coaching/volunteering:
Would you like to be a cycle coach?!!!

There is a unique opportunity prior to the olympics, the mayors fund will put 75% of the cost of the level 2 course if you register to volunteer for the club.
The club has agreed to pay the other 25% when you complete the course and become qualified. This kind of deal will not be around after the olympics….so take it now
to fill your application in put cycling then level 2
maximum hours of volunteering .reduces cost
you can use me as  a referee as I have already sorted this out
