The Prenelle’s take on Racing in France

By | 27/05/2015

Luke and Owen Prenelle had a successful weekend of racing in France. The event was similar to Ixworth. It is organised by the father of AG2R pro Mika Cherel, the Norman village of Les Biards forming the backdrop, with closed roads and vehicular support – a very professional level of organisation. Owen won the under 10 race with his usual solo attack on the first lap. Luke attacked with Innis Harvey, a VCL rider who happened to be on holiday in the area. Innis has been doing well in the recent track omnium series and has a powerful sprint, so Luke had to make the race hard and use his endurance fitness to wear down his opponent, eventually taking the sprint for first place. The regional champion came in third.Overall a great event, easy and free to enter with a good standard of racing. Definitely recommended.
