Level 1 & 2 Coaching Bursary Scheme – Cycling Award for Young Volunteers (CAYV)

At British Cycling we value our Club Volunteers, and the important
contribution to the sport that they make, therefore for CAYV Volunteers
aged 16+, Club Volunteers (16-18) and Adult Club Volunteers the Go-Ride
Team have a special opportunity for budding coaches to apply for a
financial contribution towards a Level 1 Coaching Cycling Course. We
also have a small number of Level 2 Bursaries specifically for Young
Volunteers on the CAYV programme.

A range of Level 1 courses will be delivered up and down the country
specifically to cater for these limited number of volunteer places and
we would be delighted to give this opportunity firstly to all Young
Volunteers on the CAYV programme, then to Club volunteers (16-18 yrs)
and then to Adult Club Volunteers.

To apply for a bursary you will need to complete the Bursary
Application Form stating which coaching course you wish to receive
funding for. Level 1 bursaries are £120 towards a total cost of £245
and Level 2 bursaries are £150 towards a total cost of £395. Bursaries
need to be applied for at least two weeks prior to each course
commencing.
