One of our coaches, Paul Bird, is starting Track training , accreditation and racing. Track racing is where you cycle on a fixed wheel bike araound a velodrome style track. Not all tracks are indoors, the ones at Herne Hill and Welwyn are outdoor tracks and the banking is much less steep. This is your chance to be the next Sir Chris Hoy!!

This Saturday sees the final round in our Winter Series Circuit races. There’s bounds to be lots of interest as Points mean Places (apologies for that – I just got carried away!!) If you want to know who is currently where in the series then click on the following link to find out:

As we are organising and running the races this Saturday can we encourage as many parents to offer help as possible. We will need marshalls, particularly on the lower circuit. If you have a rider entered in the Under 8s, 10s and 12s you can still watch the race and help with marshalling at the same time!! Bike hire section can also do with some assistance and for the off-roaders any parents who would like to ride with their kids would be welcome.

Late news!! We have the San Fairy Ann results from last Saturday(obtained from their website HERE. It is an Excel file with 3 sheets. Sheet 1 has the results for U8, U10 and U12 whilst sheet 2 has results for U14 and U16.

Turbo training sessions are continuing on Monday evenings, times. 6.45 – 7.45pm at Hog Hill. £3 per session.
They will continue until Monday 29th March (last session). Why not join us? We have a number of club turbo trainers available to use – just bring your kit and a road bike – but use training tyres not your best racing tyres!!

We were well represented in the youth races and our riders did well. Unfortunately the only results I have found so far just give the first 3 in each race rather than a full listing.
Well done to our riders. It was good to see so many Lee Valley jerseys!
